
Mr. Dian Gomes is the Chairman of Hela Clothing. He is a former Group Director of MAS Holdings (a USD 2 billion apparel enterprise) and was the former Managing Director/CEO of its largest business division, MAS Intimates. Having commenced his career at KPMG, he moved on to become the youngest General Manager of a Fortune 500 listed company – May Corporation – prior to embarking on his 25-year career in apparel at MAS. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and Certified Practicing Accountants (Australia), he received his Executive Education at Wharton, Ashridge and Harvard Business Schools.
Dian Gomes was President of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK), Sri Lanka Division in 2001/2002 and presently sits on the Boards of many private and government organizations. His versatile interests saw him take over Presidency of the Amateur Boxing Association of Sri Lanka from 2004-2009. Dian was a Vice President of the National Olympic Committee and President of the National Fencing Association. He is also part of the Women’s Commission in the Amateur International Boxing Association (AIBA). Renowned for his commitment to the development of sports across the country, Dian has represented Sri Lanka at numerous international sporting events in the capacity of Chef de Mission, including the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. In 2013, he was the first Sri Lankan to be appointed as one of the 14 Members of the Commonwealth Advisory Body on Sport (CABOS), the key sports policy advisory body to the Commonwealth Secretariat. In 2014 he was awarded the African Sports Management and Leadership Award for his Outstanding Individual Contribution to Sports. He was awarded Business Leader of the year 2003 at the CIMA-Janashakthi Pinnacle Awards and was ‘Highly Commended’ by CIMA-UK at the 2004 Business Leader Awards in London.
His unparalleled leadership was recognized when he was named the Business Icon of the year 2012 at the CIMA Leadership awards. Acknowledged as one of Sri Lanka’s ‘Male Icons’ by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing in 2007, Dian Gomes was awarded the ‘Brand Leadership Award’ under the Individual Category, in Mumbai, by the World Brand Congress in 2009. He has presented numerous papers on organisational behaviour, and has lectured widely on Leadership and Motivation at a variety of Sri Lankan and International forums, including Imperial College Business School, London and Said Business School, University of Oxford, England. His work in endorsing and promoting ethical business practices gained him an invitation as a panelist at the Symposium of Gender Inequality in Emerging Markets conducted by Green Templeton College at the University of Oxford in January 2013.
With a need to cater to Sri Lankan artists and art lovers alike, in 2004 Dian envisioned a creative haven, bringing Gandhara, a life-style store, to existence. Dian’s keen eye on spotting talent in the sporting and business arenas also sparks when it comes to art and crafts, supporting talented local artists and artisans through the platform of Gandhara.

With an extensive background in boxing built over the years, Hemantha has held numerous administrative positions in Sri Lanka and ASBC; he was the Assistant Secretary of Boxing Association of Sri Lanka (2004 -2006), Secretary (2007- 2010) Vice President of the Boxing Referees and Judges Association of Sri Lanka (2012 -2017), Secretary ASBC R&J Commission (2015 – Up to date).
Boxing for St Sylverter’s College since 1980 Hemantha captained the college boxing team in 1984 and went to win the Best boxer award in the Stubbs Shield. He was the former fly weight National Champion. He represented Sri Lanka for Asian Boxing Championships in 1984 and 2nd South Asian Games in 2015 held in Thailand and Bangladesh respectively.
Hemantha was a National R&J from 2016, FAAB R&J from 2006, AIBA 1 Star R&J since 2010 and qualified as the International Technical Official from year 2013 and has been a R&J Evaluator at many international boxing tournaments, while also taking up the roles of International Technical Delegate. Hemantha has been an Executive Committee member of Boxing Association of Sri Lanka from year 2013 up to date.

Aubrey has held the office of President of the Amateur Boxing Association of Sri Lanka since 2010, and this marks the third time he is being re-elected to head the Association. Aubrey was appointed a National Referee Judge in 2003, going on to become a FAAB Referee Judge in 2006, and 1-Star Referee Judge in 2011.
Boxing for Royal College since 1981, Aubrey had sportsmanship embedded in him from an early age, representing his school in boxing and other sports. He captained the college boxing team in 1985 and was awarded school colours in 1984 & 1985. Aubrey was also part of the Royal college soccer team from 1982 – 1984.
He currently serves as the Manager of Commercial Bank PLC, Biyagama Branch.

A student of Sivali Central College Ratnapura, Dhananjaya went on to complete his higher education at the National Institute of Business Management. He is the Human Resource Executive of Hela Clothing (Private) Limited. Dhananjaya was appointed a National Referee & Judge in 2014.
Boxing for Sivali Central College since 2002. Dhananjaya had sportsmanship embedded in him from an early age, representing his school in Boxing and Chess. He was the former Light Heavy weight Junior National Champion in 2006 He was awarded school colours in 2006 for the boxing. Dhananjaya was also part of the Sivali Central College Chess team from 2002–2007 and he was won the board prize in All Island Inter School Chess Championships.

Commander (NP) M Arjuna Lanka Perera received his education from St. John’s College, Nugegoda. He joined the Sri Lanka Navy as an Officer Cadet of the 24th Intake on 16th October 1995 and underwent his basic training at the Naval and Maritime Academy, Trincomalee. Commander (NP) Arjuna Lanka Perera successfully completed his Sub Lieutenant Technical Course at Naval & Maritime Academy, Trincomalee, Young Officer Course and Battalion Support Weapon Course at Sri Lanka Army Infantry Training School at Minnariya, Basic Marksmanship Course and Unit Coacher Course at Marksmanship and Sniper Training School, Diyathalawa and VIP Protection Course at Commando training centre, Ganemulla. Further, he attended the Junior Command and Senior Command Courses at Army War Collage, India as his professionals.
Commander Arjuna Lanka was a keen sportsman in his School carrier of boxing team and he took part for L.V Jayaweera, T.B Jaya and Stubbs shield School National Tournaments. He was a Senior Corporal of his School Cadet Platoon & Senior Scout member of school scout group and represented the college Rugby team and many athletics events as well.
Commander Arjuna Lanka Perera obtained a Masters Degree of Business Administration in Logistic Management from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. Also successfully completed diploma in International Relations (BCIS), Diploma in Druges Abuse Management (Colombo), Diploma in Senior Level Defense Management Course at university of Indor (India) and presently reading for Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety at National Institute of Occupational Health and Safety.
Commander (NP) Arjuna Lanka Perera commanded various establishments of the Sri Lanka Navy and held a number of important appointments during his distinguished Naval service both at the Naval Headquarters and Naval Commands at Northern and North Central Command including Executive Officer of SLNS Pandukabaya at Punewa, Commanding Officer of Naval Deployment Murunkan, SLNS Agbo Madagal, Jaffna and SLNS Therapuththa Silawathurai, Mannar. Also held appointments at Naval Headquarters on the staff of Director Naval Training as Staff Officer (NPM) Training and Senior Staff Officer (NPM) under the Directorate of Naval Personnel.
In 1997 south of Omanthai during the Jayasikuru Operation he displayed his tact and valour when he was a Sub Lieutenant. Commander (NP) Arjuna Lanka Perera is a decorated officer being a recipient of the Rana Shura Padakkama (RSP) for gallantry in the face of the enemy and awarded Uththama Seva Padakkama (USP) for his unblemished character with many other medals and he has designated as Justice of Peace (Whole Island)
Commander (NP) Arjuna Lanka Perera was the former secretary and presently holds as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Navy Boxing Pool and Assistant Secretary of Boxing Association of Sri Lanka.
Commander (NP) Arjuna Lanka Perera is married to Gayani and they are blessed with one daughter and two sons , Ahasna, Akbo and Sakbo.

Deepal Priyanga is an accountant having over 14 years local and overseas industry experience. He was working in a wide spectrum of different industries from Healthcare, Construction, Production and Manufacturing industries to Retail industries and mastered in Financial Management, Financial Analysis, Strategic Management, ERP implementation, Business Analysis, Change Management, Financial & IS Audits, and Human Resource Management while working in the industry.
Deepal Priyanga is currently reading for the final stage of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants examination. Further, he is a sports enthusiast who had completed Olympic Solidarity Sport Administrators Course recently and also had involved in sports during college

Yahan is a well-rounded financial professional, and an Associate Member of CIMA UK. He currently serves as the Deputy General Manager of Hela Clothing.
He has also represented Sri Lanka in Swimming and has captained the Sri Lanka Water Polo Team. Further he has Olympic Solidarity Sport Administrators Course.
